The owner of Biltmore Estate, the largest private mansion in the US and built by the descendants of railroad magnate Cornelius Vanderbilt, is suing a home decor company for selling products and services under the Biltmore trademark without permission.
The Biltmore Company, which owns the estate, alleged that Sleek Creations of Scottsdale LLC rebranded to Biltmore Interiors and Linens in 2018, infringing the company’s rights to the Biltmore mark.
