Spring has sprung and it’s time for the annual Rooster Cottage Open House and Day of Local Art this weekend.
In its eleventh year of business, the Rooster Cottage Consignment shop in Mesquite is ready to showcase what they have to offer.
“We are thrilled to be hosting this annual event,” said Rooster Cottage co-owner Carol Bulloch. “We have hired three new employees as we are growing and are on track to have the best year ever.”
Attendees at the event will receive refreshments, a free gift (1 per household) and drawings for Rooster Cottage gift certificates. There will also be live music and lots of marked down items.
Of course the biggest reason for the open house is to showcase local artists. This year, about 25 artists will be outside the store selling, displaying and creating their wares.
The Rooster Cottage Consignment Shop is very unique and offers new and gently used home furnishings, original art and decor, gifts and hand-crafted items.
“We are getting more items all the time, and we have something for everyone,” Bulloch said.
The Spring open house is held annually and is located at 748 W. Pioneer Blvd. in Mesquite.
